 I doubt that any women get so dang horney due to their period coming on that they will walk up to any man and stick his hand down her pants. Very few women, unless they are ill, like have a sex addiction, would be so out of control and horney.
But to answer your question a good way to get control is to relieve the sexual tension/need. In other words ~ masterbate. Have an orgasm. Or 2. Or 3! You feel horney, go take care of it! Another thing to do is find a better outlet. Get busy! Volunteer, throw yourself into your work, excercise, plant a garden, anything where you are physically busy and exhausting yourself.

 Well, there is no reason you should have to control yourself. These are hormonal changes going on because on a primal level, your body is trying to get you pregnant. I know I get quite randy the entire week before my period. That is my most fertile time, and my body is trying to put that egg to good use.
Have you tried masturbation? It can help relieve some of the tension you feel, and you can do it privately. This way you can save your intimate time with your BF because you WANT to be sexual with him and not because you feel you need it. Hope that helps!
