writes:hey just wanted some advice, ive been with my boyfriend for 1 year 1/2 about to be 2 years and we love eachother very very much, we made future plans and all, the problem is his mother. she doesnt like me at all because im spanish. im dominican and they are jamaican and for some reason they hate spanish people so she doesnt like at all. everytime i go to his house to spend like 2 or 3 days in his house, she always talkin shit about me like im not even there. i dont want to say nothing to her because thats his mom and i dont want to disrespect her but she does it to me all the time and im getting to the point where im just gonna flip and curse her ass out. its been toooo long and she thinks just because im dating her son i have to take her bullshit, and im not like that. the only person that could talk to me the way she does is MY MOTHER so what should i do ? You need to stand up against blatant abuse and racism in here. Holding your tongue would only give her the impression you are weak and submissive thus encourage her to abuse you more often. Take a swipe at her real good then tell the son to take a hike if her son doesnt stand up to his mommy. Bear in mind, when you marry the son, you are marrying his family too. It's not worth loving the son of a bitch. Your dignity and integrity comes first. There are many men out there who would love you as you are and stand up for you.
