I just don't see the point of going to high school reunions. I have stayed in contacted with my classmates that I wanted to stay in contact with. I can keep up with most of my other former classmates by Facebook. And most of the people I hung out with were either in the grade above me and a class below me. So it is not like they will be at the reunion anyway. I did go to a private school that always claimed that "we are like a family here". I did not have a bad experience at the school. I even have some good memories of the school. But I never felt like I was part of the "family". To me, it was just a school that I attended. But my family found out about the school reunion (they are friends with my classmates' parents) and are trying to pressure me into going and some of my classmates are trying to talk me into going. Is a school reunion really that big of a deal? Is it okay that I don't attend my high school reunions?
