Seriously that's just not how you treat your partner, to be honest I don't even think you should have to know that he is masturbating every day when you are at work! Everybody does it, but if he'd rather masturbate than have sex with you he has a problem.

Maybe he has a fetish or a desire for a sexual act that he is not confident talking about as he feels embarrassed .Its not clear how you know he masturbates when your not around but its time to turn detective . I dont condone spying on your partner but you need to get to the bottom of this problem . If for instance he is leaving evidence of his sessions on the computer have a look to see what he likes looking at , see if they form a pattern .If you find he has a fetish or a desire for something different dont confront him with your new found evidence as this will embarrass him further .If you feel its something you can share tell him you would like to try something new , he might open up to you .
