Whilst there I made an effort to keep in touch with my boyfriend.A few days before I came home he went away. He went to some small islands off Africa. He explained that it would cost too much to call. I think this is fair enough. Yet he hasn't been in contact whatsoever. I cannot believe he has no email access or anything. It is a five star hotel.Am I being selfish? I wouldn't want him to spend his whole holiday thinking about me - not in the slightest. Just to say hi once in two weeks doesn't seem like much.It may also be worth pointing out that we lived in the same halls at uni so I am used to spending a lot of time with him. Therefore this comes as a shock.Any advice would be appreciated.

Maybe he having alot of fun where he is a might have forgoten life at home. I can imagine being in africa might do that. Why dont you do the contacting, send him an e-mail asking how he is, and hows the holiday.Sometimes life can ut present issues above our past ones. So dont worry too much, it may be innocent mistake, even if hes your boyfriend.
