He's my friend but I really like him and he thinks I'm not a virgin...

Question - (31 January 2011) 2 Answers - (Newest, 31 January 2011)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, *player369 writes:

So i'm at University and I have this great bunch of friends. Within this group is a guy who I really like, I can't go a day without thinking about him. I have a feeling that he likes me as well, he treats me nicer than the other girls in our group and I do catch him looking at me from time to time.

Anyway, I told him about 3 months ago that I had slept with one guy before. The thing is, I'm actually a Vigin. I know I shouldn't have lied but I felt so stupid, we were all saying how many people we had slept with before and everyone else said 2 or more so I couldn't say 'none.' It would have been too embarrassing and we weren't that close at the time. But this is a problem now because if anything does develop with him I would have to tell him the truth. He then might tell the others who I also told I wasn't a Virgin and they might be offended that I lied to them all. Or he might freak out and we won't be friends anymore. That would suck.

I don't know what to do! Please help!

A female reader, Blod United Kingdom +, writes (31 January 2011):

Blod agony auntDon't worry. I don't think it'd be as awkward as you think. I'm pretty sure if you explained to him the truth and that you just felt embarrassed that he'd understand. A lot of people lie about how many people they've slept with for the same reason. So if something develops between you, just tell him the truth. He'd appreciate that more than if you continued to lie to him. I hope this helps.

A male reader, Capri2 Argentina +, writes (31 January 2011):

In my own opinion 80% of the answers in that poll are false. In a group of people telling face to face how much experienced are them in sex, most will just lie.

I don't think it's a big deal, really.
