writes:I am 20 year old. Last year I met a man who is 38 through a common friend and we became good friends. I know it sounds a bit odd as the age difference is too much to be friends.he is divorced. After knowing him for four months one day he told me that he is attracted to me but he he made it very clear that he doesnt have any feelings as such for me just the physical stuff. He asked me if we could make out. But I said a big NO to him and we remained friends.he never forced me with anything. eventually with time we got to know each other more. now after a year and half he claims that he has more than just the physical stuff. Though we got close physically in the sense that I just allow him to hug me. And whenever he makes any advances to make out I stop him and he does back off. He keeps telling that he wants to kiss me but as I am still not sure of his intentions so I dont allow him to do so. he told me that he wont force me for anything and will wait till I am ready. But at times he gets horny and tries to kiss me on other places like neck , shoulders etc. But after a while he quits.he keeps telling that whenever he sees me he just cant control himself. all he does actually is he keeps saying al this but doesnt do it in action. many a times we have been together at lonely places where he could have taken it very far but he didnt really do it . i am too young to understand his intentions, to figure out the difference between love n lust. kindly give me some of your opinions.

twinkle22 is verified as being by the original poster of the questionI asked him once why he wants to kiss me and he said that he likes me. and when I said that I am not willing to be with a man who just has the physical feeling for me then he said that now with the passage of time he has got to know me more and it is more than something physical. he told that I am not that easy to get that any man can get me just by having physical feelings for me.But i didnt ask about a relationship yet. and aother thing I noted is that he gets jealous if I speak to guys of my age, he doesnt want me to go out of town. He doesnt stop me from doing anything of the above but just that I feel that he feels insecure.

It's not good for him to be coming on physically like this. If he is in love with you, he should make it clear that he wants to be with you -- in a proper relationship.
20 to 38 is not a big age gap and not a big problem. However, what worries me a little is the fact that you sound very naive for a 20-year-old. Perhaps you're not ready for a relationship yet.
