I've been there for him during a really rough patch and have helped him through all his work assessments etc. He always teases me and I'm so fond of him. He's now told me that due to a problem his daughter has he has to move teams. I'm devastated. He seems calm about it. I know we'll probably never see each other but for someone who's my good friend he doesnt seem too bothered. I've done all I can for him and he even says he'll never get anyone like me to work with again. I dont want to be selfish but I'm devastated. What shall I do? Reply to this Question Share |

well you don't really have a choice..i'm sure he isn't calm about it, but he probably thinks there's no point being upset about it because he has to go, family always comes first.you can't really ask him to stay :/ and unless you want to move with him, unfortunately there isn't much you can do :/ sorry.
