writes: Hi. I met this guy online and he's travelled miles to come to study in the country I'm in. He first visited the capital city and is going to join and course there in Feb. Now, he's moved down south where he found this temp job. We went out on casual dates twice and he's already asked me on a third one. I feel that he's gone hot and cold, I mean the way he's communicating with me is just on and off really. Sometimes he smothers me with phone calls and emails and then goes on for days without nothing. The thing is, I never thought he was serious to begin with so I did not make a real effort to reply back to all his messages or return his calls. I did every now and then but not consistently as I thought he wasn't serious enough to move continents! Now that he has and that we met, I'm sort of hooked and keen and very into him. Shall I give it more time? Is it really too soon to say that he's not into me! Gosh I hate that term!! Reply to this Question Share |

Otherwise you'll be setting a bad standard that you are willing to be used and treated like a casual hookup.
