A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I met this lad on my holiday and we started chatting when we got back to england - he only lives about an hour away and i know the area he lives in because my sister went uni there. So after 3 weeks of constant talking (and i mean constant ... practically ever 15 mins at the most!) me and my friend went up to see him and had a night out there. One thing led to another and i ended up sleeping with him, i dont regret it at all and when i came back home we continued to chat all the time. After a week i went up to see him on my own - n it was really good and i enjoyed it n he seemed to aswell. and we slept together again n we seemed really good together. suddenly hes gone abit cold n we dont chat as much ... my friend thinks that hes got want he wants n will just kinda forget about me and get a new 'bed friend' who lives closer. and i can understand why i was well too easy but i dnt regret it. Am i just being stupid - because hes still talking to me just not as much ... Do u think my friends right? or im just overreacting? I know i sound stupid but would like ur opinions ... try to be nice tho :-s Thanks!!x

lotus mama808 agony auntIt isnt uncommon for a young man to sleep with someone and move on (the hormons are raging!) When you say he has gone cold, do you mean he has gotten a little mean when he speaks with you, making you feel like you are bothering him, or do you mean he just dosnt speak to you as much? He may just be busy with school and such. If he has been acting sour toward you, then, yes, he has probably moved on. Perhaps you should tell him that you have strong feelings for him, and was wondering if he felt the same way. Ask him if the distance between the two on you has dampened his feelings for you, if he had any to begin with. Good luck with this. There is no bad feeling than knowing you were used for sex.
