A male United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Okay, I have a tough question to ask. I started this summer with a girl that I really liked. We hit it off, and our friendship turned into a sexual one. We would play around in public and in private. Then all of the sudden, things started to change. I really still love her, but she has been going in what seems the opposite direction. I tell her constantly that no one has ever known me like her and I don't ever want to lose her, and she tells me that I am too clingy. She dresses way different, and now she is starting to smoke and do drugs. although we still see eachother everyday (I take her to school), it seems like she has no time for me. She lately hasn't even said hi to me. I guess what I am asking is that how do I know if this is just a one-ended relationship? I thought she loved me, but now I am like a back-burner. Her main complaint was that I am way too clingy. How do I stop then? I am head over heels in love with her...thanks

Love_is_all_youu_need agony auntWell i think it is really sweet when a man is head-over-heals for a woman! Maybe at times she does find you too clingy, she perhaps wants to hang with mates for a bit! Most people need their own space once in a while...But if she's changed as you say - with the drugs and smoking! How do you still like her? Surely your feelings for her must have changed a bit! There are more women out there who crave for affectionate and devoted men like you...perhaps its time to let her go! But beforehand tell her you're sick of being messed around, and maybe she'll change for you before it's all too late! xx
