writes: I have a net girlfriend (we havent met yet) who i've been with for 13 months. Today is her birthday and she recieved flowers from an ex. The only problem is is that this guy is supposed to have committed suicide 3 years ago and instead has been in prison. She has told me that if she contacts him it would ruin our relationship. I feel tho that she should but would hate what we have to end. any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

 Why do you want her to contact her ex? It has to be her decision, maybe she doesn't want to ruin your relationship, or maybe she doesn't want the guy back in her life.
Leave her to make her own mind up.
