 well there is a chance that she could be... but by judging by your age i predict that she is of a similiar age therefore her periods could be irregular meaning they have not gone into a set pattern yet... therefore although it would be a month that she had her last period it might not come for a wee while yet sometimes girls miss their periods for 2 months even 3 months when it hasnt regulated itself yet... i would advice her to visit a family planning clinic to take a pregnancy test, if she is you both have your options and dont forget that.. although i wouldnt worry too much now until u know for sure.

reader, anonymous, writes (9 December 2007): don't worry, periods mess up sometimes and they take years to become regular so its nothing to worry about. But in the case she doesnt come on for a week or so after now, I would suggest doing a pregnancy test.
