My mother is now forcing me to stay with her until I am 18 and my family is doing nothing about it. I want to return to Washington so I can do my summer school, graduate in August, and attend fashion school. If I'm stuck in Texas until July I cannot do that. What options do I have? My mother abandoned me as a child and only got back into contact with me at 13. She has tried to make me live with her before and tries to buy my love (gifts to make up for the absence). This time, due to the fact I did poorly in school (hence the summer school) she decided to keep me on this trip. My Aunt refused to go against her.
I do have means back, my boyfriend (this isn't a boyfriend issue, the distance wouldn't hurt us for this short period of time) said he can either come get me (she won't let me see/call him, or any friend for that matter) when I'm 18 or send me a ticket. He doesn't want to do anything illegal, so unless there is a legal way back before 18 - this is my only option.
I'm trying to look into options. Since she took my phone, I can only sneak onto the internet to post here or send a message. I have friends talking to a lawyer and such. Just thought I'd post here and see if maybe someone had any ideas. It really sucks to get behind. Its my fault, but if I have to GED or take classes in fall - I won't be able to start fashion school for 6 months to a year after fall.

If you stayed with your aunt she should have sign papers by your parents signing her temp custody. This is normally done when there is a child living with relative and attending school in a different state. Your aunt has to have documents letting her become your guardian while in school. This same documents allows her to take you to the doctor when sick and just can't see her with out them, the school district would not allow this. If these papers are in order you can return to school and your mom would have to revoke this permit and by the time this is done you would have finished school and be 18, so look into your options you should have plenty.

Who is your legal guardian? I'm assuming you have been staying with your Aunt? If so, how long? A little more backstory would be helpful.
Unfortunately, with less than a month there's really not much you can do legally either way. It'll take longer than a month to file paperwork and by then you'll be 18.
Do you have any means to get back to Washington by yourself?
