My University will be about 2 hours away, and despite him saying he is willing to visit every weekend im not sure that will be financially possible as he only his job is currently seasonal (Spring and Summer) Until he finishes his qualifications (He is not going to uni but hoping to get a full time job). I asked my mother for advice and she said 'There will be plenty of other men at Uni if it doesnt work out'. I know this but i really was to make this work as we have been together for 1.5 years.I know it could be worse than 2 hours away but would still appreciate any advice, thanks!

This will be an ultimate test in your relationship and love for each other. No one can say if it will or wont be ok. If you want to make it work you'll both have to fit time into each others busy schedule to talk and make time to visit one another. Communacation is the key. I hope that helps.
