(He didn't have the courage to go through with his original idea)How do I get over the hurt and distress he has caused me and how can I trust again? I've found lots of support articles for men, and wives of cross dressers but nothing to support the women who could not deal with the situation. Can anyone point me in the right direction to appropriate support please?

I don't know if this group will help exes of crossdressers but it certainly helps those who were with transgendered spouses: http://www.straightspouse.org/home.php
I hope you find the comfort you need. You're already making strides towards that by asking for help.
