writes:Im falling for my chem teacher..there are alot of teacher problems like this soo im pretty hopeful for some advice..I have talked to a few friends but none of them really know what to say..i kinda feel like im the only one having a problem for falling for a teacher.He recently turned 28 and im turning 16..and im in his class soo i get to see him everyday..He flirts with me and my friends always seem to bring up my past sex life and he always seems to be pretty close listening...he has a girlfriend and talks about her to the class and always tells us what he did for her this weekend like make her diner ect.I had a past relationship with a guy that was 25 he actually would come to my house to visit sometimes and i would eat lunch with him everyday and him and his mom came over to just visit...and he would flirt hardcore with me...finially when i found it ovious i asked him and we talked about it for like a few hours and thought it was best we didnt talk...and we havent..i really like this new guy and have since the begining of the year and i have had dreams about him and finding myself daydreaming about him alot..and just want everything to be with him...hes kinda everything i have been looking for but with him having a girlfriend i dont really know how to push forward..im working on getting closer with him and talking more and more about life and stuff since we do alittle...but what to do?

First off, its completely normal for boys and girls to fancy there teachers. But if you care about him, you will not push this or try to get close to him. It would wreck his life and career if he did anything with you. So please just leave him alone. Also you have to realise that he is not what your looking for, you are looking for a father figure. That is all. You need to understand that you were lacking something as a child that attracts to you older men. Did you not have a dad or did he make you feel neglected ? Just focus on a guy your own age, being with a teacher (or trying to be), will end up getting you hurt. If you need some support or want to talk about it more you can message me .

reader, anonymous, writes (13 February 2007): first off, there's no way that you could ever have a relationship with a teacher. you would get fired, get his teaching liscence revoked, and possibly thrown in jail. so not only would you be screwing with your life, you'd also be ruining his. if you're going to date guys who are alot older then you, keep it away from school, because it will never turn out good, trust me. sorry if this seemed harsh at all, but it's the truth...it would never work out.
