writes:hey there. so im a freshman in highschool with a scene style. i dont go crazy with the hair and makeup, but its clear im no prep. im not so interested in the jocks or preppy guys, but i noticed one really hot emo boy. he's the definition of "emo" the style, not the cutting. i really want to date him, but i feel like i wouldnt attract him. it seems like a stereotype that emo kids date other emo and scene kids only. im only the beginning phase, and my mom wont let me do the crazy hair and makeup stuff. how can i get to know him and possibly date him?  i feel your pain! i met this cute guy (even though his not emo) and i want to date him but i don't know him that well. i think the first thing you should do is befriend him and see who he really is before you get ahead of yourself with the whole dating him thing.
