We were both virgins and in fact both each other's first ever partner so we had never kissed or had sexual contact with anyone before. We had unprotected sex the first time but he withdrew and ever since we have used condoms. Recently I found bumps inside my vagina at the front but inside so I can't see them. (I just felt them). I don't feel down there that much so I don't know if they have been there for long or are just recent. I asked my boyfriend (whose dad is a doctor so my boyfriend knows quite a lot about medical stuff) and he reckons they have always been there, even before we had sex. Even so I am really worried (I am also a hypochondriac) . There are no bumps on the outside. I have been searching the web loads to find out if they are normal or not and there have been very mixed opinions. Some say that vaginas are meant to have bumps in which are called "vaginal rugae" or something. I am so worried that it might be warts. I am not in any discomfort and the only reason I knew they were there was because I could feel them. It is only at the top on the inside where there are lumps, the rest is either smooth or ridgy. Now I don't want a million people saying "Go and see a doctor" or whatever, I just want to know if vaginas are meant to be completely free of small bumps or lumps. I know there are meant to be ridges around the G-spot area but it is the lumps I am confused about. My boyfriend doesn't have any odd lumps anywhere and he has given me oral sex too and his mouth is fine but I know this doesn't necesarily mean that I am ok too. So please can people either reassure me or tell me the depressing truth? :(Thank you very muchxx
