Try porridge. Oats are vey good for you as they release energy slowly and have lots of fibre. Add some chopped fruit such as banana, strawberries or peach to make it extra healthy and tasty or a spoon of honey. Use water to make it up and add skimmed milk or soya milk.
I make a healthy version of a full english by having lots of mushrooms grilled or fried in low cal spray oil, grilled tomatoes, baked beans (great for fibre), quorn sausages(tasty low calerie meat free sausages) eggs(lots of protein and healthy, nessassary fats) scrambled or fried in low cal spray oil and bacon(protien) with the rind cut off. You can have any combo of these but add lots of the vegs to make it more healthy. You can add a slice of wholemeal toast for more energy.
Fruit a good one. Everyone knows how good fruit is. Add low fat natural yogur and honey or add it to a healthy breakfast cerial(ie not the sugar coated, chocolate varieties, rather the more simple ones like bran flakes or corn flakes).
The possibilities are endless. If you're really interested in a healthy diet, buy a good book or 2 on the subject. Don't bother with a "diet" book as such, as these often have unrealistic views on what types of foods you should eat and are aimed at starving the body of caleries to lose weight. It is much healthier to get one that is aimed at eating good foods to get all the best nutrients the body needs. Get a basic healthy cook book that has lots of different recipes to try.
The best advice I can give is eat as much veg and fruit as you can and vary what you eat, don't eat the same things every day. Try to try new foods. Cook from scratch, it is the processed, pre-made foods that are really bad for you. A lot of them have rubbish added to them to preserve it and make it look more appealing or add flaver. Flaver should come from good, natural foods and try adding herbs and spices to boost the taste of fresh food.
Good luck :)
