He wrote his phone number on the check but hasn't answered my texts... why?

Question - (14 July 2007) 2 Answers - (Newest, 14 July 2007)
A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I am a waitress at a restaurant, and I recently had a customer that I was pretty attracted to. We got along well, and when he left, he wrote his number on the check. a few days later, I decided to text message him, but he was working at the time. He never called me or texted me afterwards! I don't think I should try to contact him again, since I basically showed him that I was interested by contacting him in the first place, but I want other people's opinions on this matter. It has been only a few days since we spoke, do you think he is just playing it cool, or do you think he does not care to speak to me? Should I try to talk to him again? Why would he give me his phone number if he didn't care? Replies from both genders are welcomed, but gentlemen, I want you to be brutally honest!

YummyMummy agony auntI think you are right in not approaching him again. You got in contact with him and showed you were interested and he has obviously changed his mind. I would move on and try to forget the guy. He may be playing it cool and waiting to respond but you can't sit around and wait forever!
