Yes you are in debt, but it's not like you spend it all on shoes and handbags.
You are sensible and are getting this sorted out.
The only thing you did wrong was letting your ex put you on the paperwork.
So yes, you are a bit poor for a few years, but that's all he has to know.
You have to think positively about this.
Your depression and negativity is FAR more likely to drive him away than a bit of bad luck cash wise.
