Please don't fret too much, he probably just needs some space after your argument. But you really should make it clear to him that ignoring you does not solve your problems.

Well what else can you do? If his phone is turned off, you'll just have to wait for him to call. I hope you can trust him.

reader, anonymous, writes (15 March 2007): Hi, Im sorry to hear about that. It sounds like that is all you can do. Dont chase him more than you have already done. He will know that you have been trying to get in touch. Once he knows you have stopped chasing him, he will come to you.
We all say things in the heat of the moment sometimes that we dont mean.
When he comes back, maybe you can work things out but either way stay strong and dont lose your independance. If you have felt like you needed him this past while, use this time apart to try and find yourself again and focus on yourself so that when he does come home, you will be a stronger person either way.
