He was running hot and cold -- should I give him a second chance?

Question - (11 September 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 11 September 2009)
A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

After seeing the guy for 2 months and telling him I would move at the end of the summer (mere 30 min. from him) he told me: well i guess this summer fling is over. Then a week later his ex magically came into the picture. A month after that, I ran into him and he was chasing me back. He told me has problems and issues. He also said it was a mistake and that he messed up. Now he's been texting me every week or so, with a 'i miss you' or 'you miss me?'

Should I give him a second chance? We did have a good relationship when we were seeing each other. I do miss him but I don't think he should have acted the way he did.

No way. Things obviously didn't work out with his ex so now he wants you back. Don't be his second choice. Just be glad you were with him for only 2-months, so you aren't too attached and it's an easy one to get over. If he did all that within a 2-month relationship, he'll probably do it again. Don't give him the time of day, find someone else that knows what they want and wants to be with you and only you.
