He wants to date again but I said No-because there is no trust.. But I'm having a hard time moving on from him.

He asked me to go out and suggested he would love to have sex but I refused as I told him I no because do not trust him, he answered in a joke tone his girlfriend wouldn't matter now I phoned him, 5 DAYS LATER and tells me he is watching a movie in bed with his girlfriend from 6 months ago so he was going out with her when tryin to pull me in may at the same time... is he doing it to get me in? I want to move on, it's difficult not to think about it as it seems incredibly

Is it me or is he a cranky guy

Cranky? This guy is a player. Cheats on his current gf and is very offhand about wanting to go out with you - for no reason, really, other than to have sex. He is not trustworthy.

Telling him "NO" once again, and following it up by telling him not to contact you again (as in "never") would be an excellent idea.......you deserve much better than him!
