I use hair-removal cream because I have super-sensitive skin and can't shave down there - but yes, I do think most women have it. Have fun! :o)

Your hair folicles don't know where the line is drawn! They just grow all over that area in general.
Porn stars wax / shave because bare skin makes the man's penis look bigger and makes the camera angles easier.
Most of us just trim as far as we can see and not worry about it. A little bit of hair is going to look far better than shaving rash or ingrown hairs.
To be honest, with what you are going to him, I really don't think he's going to be thinking too much about anything.
