A female Canada age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Girls (or guys) I need help. I just went to my second date with a guy and everything was so fun, before he left, the only thing I've been able to say is "..eh...hug??". Like last time. MY GOD.

And i'm seeing him again in a few days. On our first date he wanted to kiss me. but it scares so much (I've only kissed one person before..and..well..I was drunk) I don't know what to do. I wanted to make a move on him today, but he gave me no signals.

What can I do !? Do you think he's no more interested? I'm so confused D:

and no i'm not 15 haha i'm 19 and I just really REALLY suck at relationship.

Dear Mandy agony auntHi

what you scared of? if you like the guy kiss him already :) when you go out again just be brave and say " about that hug last time, sorry I was just a little shy. you could always show me that kiss now" and give him a cheeky little grin. Im sure he will be more than happy to. Your going to have butterflies in your tummy, and go weak at the knee's, but what a kiss to remember eh xx

A male reader, Odds United States +, writes (22 May 2011):

Odds agony auntWell, the "Eh, hug" thing probably tells him you have no interest, but if you have another date planned, you can recover from this.

If you can get him alone anytime during the second half of the date (and "alone" includes outdoors on the sidewalk), stand really close to him and make eye contact. "Really close," in the case, means three or four inches between you. Hold eye contact until he moves in for the kiss, then just go with it. If he doesn't go for it immediately, put your hands on his chest and lean forward a bit, he'll get the message. Break it off after about five to ten seconds (count in your head if you have to), then repeat the procedure at the very end of the date. Best of luck.
