writes: My boyfriend is REALLY shy. We've been going out for over two weeks and we still haven't kissed yet. When I text him, we can hold a conversation for hours, but when we are in person he gets quiet and barely talks. He is a year younger than me, and I am his first girlfriend, so I understand the idea of him being nervous. But he told my friends that he was going to kiss me, but he keeps making up stupid excuses of why he hasn't. I do like him a lot, so I don't want to break up with him- but I need him to stop being so nervous and kiss me. Any tips?

a couple days after posting my question he finally kissed me. i was kinda glad that he took the initiative, cause i was too scared to kiss him first, since it was my first "non dare" kiss. i was really happy.

Oh sweetness, give the poor guy a break and kiss him first! Maybe it's his first kiss ever and he's afraid that you won't like it or that he'll mess up. So, do him a favor and make the move!! Otherwise, I'm afraid if he tries to do it, he'll pass out from the nerves and the stress!
Alright girlfriend... have fun and good luck!

I have been in that situation before. If you feel confident then you kiss him. Then gradually he will see how you feel and kiss back. Good luck girl!
