writes:i really like this boy we have been good friends for a while now and im sure he likes me too but i have doubts heres my story..... for a few weeks we have been talking on msn and saying how much we like each other nd we were suposet to meet up a few time alone but sumting always happend and a few days ago he told me he loved me but now hes going out with another girl...did he really love me and do you think he still does???

Its because boys, particularly your age, string people along. I don't think he loves you, I think he was just using you for a bit of fun.
I know its harsh, but its best you know that now and that you can get over him so you can find someone that actually does love you and you want to spend your time with.

 he already told you loud and clear the kind of person he is and how he felt about you and with his actions and please honey dont get into any serious relationship with him or he is gonna end up cheating on you and hurting your feelings. with what you said i think all he has for you is lust or it might be that he truly loves you but he has lust centered in the corner of his eyes. and trust me that is not good

 I'm not sure if I got this information right but I'll ask this. Does he live far away from you? Because if he does, maybe he can't handle the stress of a long-distance relationship. Also, it's kind of hard to tell if someone loves you when they tell you in the internet. So the answer for your question is hard to say, but I wouldn't right aways say "No, he doesnt".
A good thing to do is to ask him to tell you the truth and his reasons to get a girlfriend and yet tell you he loves you. There's nothing to lose by doing this.
