We texted for shouted 4 weeks when I told my friends that I liked him and they said if i didn't tell him they would, I didn't tell him so they did. In texts we managed to never speak of it but in person everything is very awkward. He told me his best girl more is angry at him and Is jealous of our friendship. They made up after a week but I think she gave him the option between me and him since he hasn't spoken to me properly since and just is reading my messages and not replying. What should I do?

His "best girl mate" shouldn't HAVE the right to "veto" what girl HE wants to be friends with or date... ONLY a GF has those "rights".
So I agree, if he stopped talking to you, because SHE doesn't like it... she is MORE than a "best grail mate".
Let him go. There is only drama down that road.
