writes: MY ex and i split up 5 wks ago, we have been in heavy contact for 3 wks now, texting, he told me last he loves me but we cant be together as his parents didnt like our relationship so the fact he loves me doesnt change a thing.we have plans to meet up and go out, does this mean there really isnt a chance or do you think he just needs time to find the strenghth to stand up for what he wants.will he stop loving me if he continues to see me, we will not have a sexual relationship but as we were very close and our relationship had no issues at all i cant see how we will progress when there is still strong feelings?

my boyfriend and i are both in our 40`s and his family doesn`t care for me either,it`s not about them, we can`t help who we fall in love with,your ex is a grown man,"you can`t raise somebody already grown"he needs to stand his ground,let his parent know how he feels about you and so be it!!!!
