writes: What have I done wrong?I have been with my boyfriend for 18 months. The first year of going out was great we never argued and always were together and even planned to get married in the future. But since the end of March of this year he has been hot and cold with me and calling me less. I ask what's bothering him and he tells me that nothing is wrong and that I think too much. He tells me he loves me but sometimes I feel that he doesn't mean it. It was only this week he finished it with me and told me to delete his number, don't call him no more and forget him. I can't just forget about him; I still love him. What hurts more is he didn't give me a reason to why he finished it with me. He just said "I don't trust you", but I have done nothing but be a decent girlfriend. Please help I'm confused. Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (13 April 2005): I hate to say it but it sounds like he has found someone else. That is the reasoning behing the hot and cold treatments. He was having a hard time deciding what to do. Usually when guys say they don't trust you is because of what they have done themselves.
