so go for it you never know to me it sounds like this lad likes you, and if he doesnt and i say if coz i think he does then at least you tried and you know.
i met my boyfriend at work and we are very happy i didn't think he liked at first but he but i was wrong and all i done was put out the signs and i got his number and text him and one night he told me he like me and we took it from there that was 4 months ago.

How does he react to physical contact?
If he is shy he will find it hard to assert himself in that way. You may need to make it easier for him.
I dont mean jump on him, but escalate physical contact, make it more obvious of your feelings. If he wants you he will have to come out of his shell a bit more and reciprocate.
