Being able to be silly around your partner is the best thing in the world, it means he has let his guard down fully and he can just have fun with you, so yes it is a good thing. As long as you are both able to be serious with each other as well and are able to discuss tough topics then my guess is that this is a great relationship. Enjoy it.
