So I've been dating this guy for like a year now he says he loves me but I don't know. He can last a week maybe more without talking to me, he never seems to want to talk on the phone, and every time he's with me he always leaves like an hr earlier then he told me he's going to leave. Is that love?

That doesn't sound like love to me. If he can go a whole week without talking to you then I think something's wrong, maybe he's just not interested in being in a relationship at the moment or maybe he's got bored. This sounds really harsh, I'm sorry, but I'm in love and it's nothing like you're describing. Me and my boyfriend can't go an hour without texting each other. If I was you, I would talk to him about it and if he doesn't listen to you and show you more affection then I would break up with him because he definitely doesn't sound like he's treating you right!

luvingme21 agony auntTo me I think you can never be certain if a guy really loves you or not. Everyone shows their feelings differently. But in this case I just think that maybe this guy may not know what the term "I love you" means. Perhaps he does care but not the way he says. I know lots of guys who feel a certain way but have difficulty showing it. But my advice to you is don't take his "I love you's" to heart because it seems like he's using to wrong words for the wrong meaning.
