We have had long conversations on the phone before we met and we got together a couple of times on the weekends, he lives 2 1/2 hrs from me. We get along really good and have alot of fun, but when its time for me to go home he tells me he doesn't want a long distance relationship and he is moving on. Then we see each again, this has happened 3 times now. He told a mutual friend that when i leave all he can think of is his wife. Should i be persistant and keep trying or let him go.

All good relationships start with trust, so trust what he is saying, even if he is lying to himself. If he says he doesn't want a long distace relationship then don't do one. If he says he is moving on then you move on.
That doesn't mean you can't be just friends, but hold that line firmly. Then maybe he will start being honest with himself.
