We walked for a while then we sat down. First he asked me if I had a cell phone with me. I said yes then we didn't talk about it for a while. Then he said "You should text me" and I said that I didn't have his number. He said "You should get my number" and then he gave his number to me. What should I do?! What should I write? I really want to hang out with him this summer but I don't want to ask him straight out. What can I say so that he asks me? (If he wants to)

I think he like you already, through the text he will get your number. So make the text simple and cool like saying 'hey how are u doing, just a text to show, that i remember you ask me to text you. Hope this will help.
