He told me he liked me, and then he just said that. I remember thinking, future HUSBAND...I am not thinking of marriage anytime soon. Also, this guy and I are not even dating--we are just friends, I am not saying we can never date, but it just never really happens for us. We flirt on and off...but he never really made any moves. I didnt know what to say. We are both young, I am going to be 20 and he is 25. I was just wondering what others thought about this.

You guys are friends and I'm sure you get along well and since you say you two flirt on and off maybe there is a little crush on his part BUT I feel he was just giving you a compliment. OR it could have been him secretly letting you know that in a way he wants to step it up to a different level but at the same time it doesn't necessarily mean he wants to get married tomorrow.

Why can't you just take the compliment? He's not saying you're planning to get married any time soon, all he's saying is that he thinks you're a really good catch...
