writes:hello frinds ..im a 22 year old girl.I will first let you all know about myself AM a nice girl or say the good girl have never dated any guy in my life cos we were taught that husbands gonna be the only person in girls life . i have been a topper in studies throughout my life n ended up doing exceptionally well. My parent are proudest parents cos every one around me just love me my freinds my teachers just everyone..I have been asked out by many men in my life span some exceptionally good som average but i never wanted to go out with them cos i never wanted to break my parents trust ..now last year i was kinda depressed n met some one online he was highly intelligent his views were filled up by respect for women though initially i avoided him but he persuaded me trust me he saiid all the nicest sweetest things a girl can ever want to hear and also he never lied me never so we chatted like crazy he was away from his family and friends and also the girl he liked he used to ask me to come out with him which i did rarely but stil I DID!! cos i never did that before we chatted day and nights i got emotionally dependent on him for the entire year i spent my nights talking to him from the it moved to phones talking hours on stretch now one year is about to make its anniversary this guy moves back to his place and let me inform you that guy is very intelligent and had been in relation many times before and mine being first one i had barely knew a guy in this way before n now i finally got my courage to ask him that he loves me he says he loves me as a friend but he already slept with his girlfriend back home and now he cant leave her though he told me about her before he just said she is madly in love with her hes not and they cant get together .i am soo deeply hurt if he loved her why did he kept on speaking to me he knew i am emotionally very week and he actually encouraged me..i avoided him in the first few months but he convinced me like anything and now that i am in love with him he says i was just a friend for him do ppl flirt all the time with just a friend do they speak all the hours in a day to just a friend he says life moves on he says hes very practical and can never get emotional when he knew i was very very emotional..i just like to ask that did he use me why did he encourage my feelings he knew i have started liking him he says am the best girl on planet and if he wouldnt have met her he would loved me i hate him for saying this but i would never like to be dat girl cos i have always been decent M soo hurt and emotionally am broken one thought is why did he come after me just to leave me what was dat he wanted from me .pls help im drained and dont think can love any other man.thanks in advance..

reader, anonymous, writes (25 February 2011): I recommend you send him one email saying that because of everything that's been going on you want to take a break from speaking to him for a while. Then break contact - flat out. From there, you can tell mutual friends how great you are doing, then it'll leak back to him and he'll come running.
Relationships can be like a tug of war until they're established - if you PUSH, he gets all the rope and you end up on your back - you have to PULL, which means give him distance, and he'll come to you of his own accord.
This is not an easy thing to do - good luck.
