writes:so, i've been a relationship for a month and 1/2 now. my bf already says that he loves me and that he wants us to spend the rest of our lives together. he dropped the L word within the 1st 2 to 3wks of the relationship. he's soo in love with me that it sometimes makes me sick, like an obsession. although i understand where he's coming from b/c i was in love like this once before but i got over it with in a year's time. i love him but im just not in love with him and i've told him this numerous times before but he just keeps sayin "it'll come, just give it time." but i dont wanna give it time, i dont wanna be tied down and committed to just one boy, not now anyways, im only 18 for cryin out loud, i have my whole life ahead of me and on top of that, im gonna be starting college soon!  ..Hi there, When you say you have been in a relationship, what did you commit to or did you just find yourself going along with things? If you don't care for him as he does for you, then end it as gently as possible. Stop returning his calls, stop calling him and move on. If he is not listening to you then it is up to you to show him that the two of you are not on the same page. College will certainly do the trick with the separation, but take control and do what you feel is best for you now. He will get the picture in time. Move on.
