He likes me, I like him, but I feel he's too childish. Do I wait a couple of years?

A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

This guy I like just revealed that he loves me. I have had a crush on him for seven years but he is so immature and I want a solid relationship. I don't want a relationship with someone who is so childish.

Would I be stupid to wait until he matures to date him?

I think that you should try going out with him for a while and if he acts to immature and childish tell him and if you dont want to do that maybe its just the best to break up with him

bobbles32 agony auntYou would not be stupid to wait! Usually girls mature faster than guys so if you wait a bit then he might catch up.. but beware that he could potentially find another girlfriend..
