We got on really well and he was pretty nice to me and friendly but nothing at all happened, he didnt really hug me or anything - and I was expecting more. I only thought it was weird because he'd said on MSN before that I was really cute and if he knew me better he'd go out with me in an instant. Also, there was another girl at the party who's a year older than he is, and for all the second part of the night we hung around in a three. He's invited me to the cinema with his friends, but he's also invited her. He also got her number and MSN address [he already had mine].I'm not really sure what to think. I tried my best at the party but we didn't really flirt or anything. I didn't get the impression he was *more* interested in the girl than I was, it kinda seems that he likes us equally. What can I do? I really like him.

get to know him, its not all about dating him. i know the response is late but i hope it went okay with him. if you havent already made a decision then get to know him if he would go out with you once he knows you better then getting to know him is a good choice.
good luck
