writes: Can you help me understand this?My ex-boyfriend and I broke up two years ago. We were together for two years. After we broke up, I found out that he'd lied and cheated multiple times! Anyway, we continues being friends. We live in different cities now so we meet up on the weekends at times. N he seems to be very attentive. I know that he calls me first thing after getting off from work. I still get angry about the lying and the cheating and naturally, I do not trust him at all. It does confuse me because I just don't understand him! Why does he care if I get angry? Why make plans to visit me (n no- he hasn't tried to sleep with me)? Why do all this when he lied while we together? I just don't know what to think of the man.

It makes him feel less bad about himself if you carry on seeing him.
Plus he knows you are there as a plan B if he ever wants easy sex. You've forgiven him enough to be his friend so he thinks you are stupid enough to sleep with him or give him another go.
Why are you being his friend? How does having him in your life make you happy?
Good Luck!! xx
