Me and my boyfriend were supposed to tell his mum that we were getting engaged and then at the last minute wanted to tell her another day, this then made me wonder if he even wanted to be engaged at all?

tennisstar88 agony auntWhat did he say when you asked him why he didn't tell her? (At least I hope you have asked him). If not then that should be the first thing out of your mouth the next time you see him.

Why not call his mum up and schedule a lunch with her, you, and your fiance? That way you can tell her over a proper setting, maybe it will ease the pressure off of your boyfriend.
