I know he currently has a partner and he has told me they are separating, he has also mention that he is looking for a job near where i live. He said he wants a long term relationship with me, he is 60 years old and i do have feelings for him and think about him quite alot. We have kissed and been intimate. He is 60 years of age, do you think this is to old to start a relationship with, as i do want children etc. please let me know what you honestly think?

Don't let yourself be strung along. If he wants to separate from his partner, what's stopping him? If he's leaving, I guess that means you can call him at home since the partner knows it's over, right?
Or is he another loser looking for something on the side?
