We started talking in September and we regained a friendship ( or so i thought) He would stare at me non stop and his face would be usually either red or pale when he saw me. during lunch one day early last week he turned around and looked at me 10 times ( me and my friend *Emma kept count). On Thursday Emma asked him out with me he said" Whats the point if theres only one way?" Other words whats the point if i like him and he doesn't like me back.So i got her to ask if we could just be friends andhe said " yeah sure but to be honest we weren't really friends in the first place"...He acted like he has feelings for me one mimute and the next he doesn't... I understood it when he rejected me but when he said that we weren't really friends i started to feel bad...He is confusing me... I feel like he is messing with my head...HELP

Ask him what he is talking about. "We weren't really friends anyways," could mean two things, either one you were never friends as in you were just acquaintences, or two he thinks there was something more going on.
Ask him why he acts so weird, stares, and then goes away. Maybe he did this behavior before cos he was a young boy, but now he needs to be open about his feelings as he is no longer a boy who thinks that girls "have cooties."
