writes:i really need help with this guy. he has a girlfriend and they have been dating for almost a year but he tells me everyday that he loves me and that he wants to be with me for the rest of his life. i do not know if it is true or not but almost everyday he tells me that he made out with another girl and that he had sex with her. i am 13 and so is he but i do not know what to do. i have two questions and i hope that someone can answer them. should i just talk to him about it or should i just leave him? and also, should i talk to his girlfriend and tell her that he is trying to mess with me so she can know the truth too?

reader, anonymous, writes (18 March 2011): This boy isn't worth your time! If he wanted to be with you and only you, he wouldn't keep his girlfriend or sleep with other girls. He would be with you, but he isn't. He's all talk. Tell him to leave you alone! Besides, at 13, boys and girls don't know who they want to spend the rest of their lives with, nor should they even be worrying about it. Go out and have fun with friends and be a kid as long as you can! You can grow up later, when it's time to be a grown up. Once you are one, there's no going back.
