 I think he is attention seeking from a number of women. Asking for goodies and commenting on peoples celebrity fantasies is a bit much but I suppose it is just flirting. He is clearly a type that likes to flirt and get noticed. I don't think the phone is dodgy, I do that all the time, I just don't want to talk to that particular person at that moment in time. You just look at the name coming up , think can you bothered and then cut off. I never answer the phone at all if it rings and I am with someone.
He sounds like quite hard work but fairly harmless so I wouldn't worry about him being dodgy at all.

As for the not picking up the phone when he's with you, I think he's polite. It shows he'd rather focus on YOU than on someone on the phone.
