Instead of it being ourselves, it was us, his teenage daughter and teenage son ... and one of his sons friends, whom he hasn't seen in years. The problem? The kids friends is his ex girlfriend's son. So by his son inviting the kid over to spend the night, the mom got in touch with my man. They talked almost an hour to catch up, and today have been in touch. She was the one who he talked about missing one night he was drunk a few months ago. She is picking up her son tonight, so I'm sure the discussions/flirtation will continue.I got upset last night, but tried not to show it. He doesn't understand why I was upset. I just think it would have been a lot nicer if we would have done something ourselves. Or maybe just us and the kids. But to have the past come in on our annviersary? UGH!
