The thing is he makes me feel so small I get so depressed sometimes because of the way he treats me. I have been on anti depressants because of him.I feel he talks more to his friends than me, even yesterday I had to go hospital because I had spasm in my neck and he would not even drop me to the hospital I have to get a cab I'm so hurt.

He obviously doesn't value you or the family life you offer. You cannot change him but you have made the connection between him and your depression. That is the first step to a better life. No one should make you feel that bad and the put downs are a form of emotional abuse. You can either continue to be the victim in this situation or you can take the braver option - leave him and send a clear message for your daughter that women don't stand for such treatment. It doesn't sound like he contributes much to your life right now, so why stay with him?
